Ellen O’Brien (Co-Founder and CEO)
Accredited Training Fellow (ATF) of the Orton-Gillingham Academy (OGA)
Ellen has been involved in education for more than thirty five years. She has spent the last eight years training educators across public and independent school systems. She brings deep expertise paired with a personal story many educators relate to: wondering how to help a child but not knowing who to turn to for help.
Her training combines evidence, practice, joy, and courage. Educators who learn under her leave with clarity, confidence, and the ability to deliver meaningful progress for their students.
“I highly recommend working with Ellen on your OG journey. She is a gifted teacher, a skilled tutor, and a wonderfully compassionate person. Ellen listens deeply and approaches every question with curiosity, never making me feel hesitant or unsure about asking for clarification. Her expertise in Orton-Gillingham is exceptional. I feel incredibly grateful to be on this path with her and cannot recommend her enough to anyone considering OG training.”
