Our Courses for Educators

Pathways to Reading

  • Equips educators to help children develop early literacy skills by learning an overview of the structure of English and strategies to expedite reading.

Instructional Coaching

  • Provides coaching for educators who want to develop new pathways for students in reading, writing, and learning support.

  • Educators for all ages seeking 1-on-1 coaching.

Associate Orton-Gillingham (OG) Training

  • The Associate OG training includes both a course (70 hours online) and a practicum (100 hours).  Through coursework and a one year practicum, you are invited to learn how to apply the Orton-Gillingham Principles with students who struggle to acquire literacy skills.

    Prerequisites include a Bachelor’s degree and the OG Subscriber Course.

    It is possible to only take the course. The practicum must begin within 2-3 months of taking the course.

Certified Orton-Gillingham (OG) Training

  • The Certified OG Course equips people to use the OG approach to independently tutor students with literacy struggles and more complex profiles. The Certified training includes both the course (100 hours) and the practicum (200 hours).

    The Certified training must be completed over a two year period. However, it is possible to take the course material without taking the practicum. 

    Prerequisites: successful completion of the Associate practicum.
